Cucumber Sandwich: Necessary Ingredients
- 2 ounces cream cheese, unsalted, at room temperature
- 1 tbsp low-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, sliced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
- 2 slices whole-wheat bread or whole-wheat baguette
- ⅓ cup cucumber, thinly sliced
Preparation Process
In a small bowl, stir together the cream cheese and herbs until smooth. Spread the mixture over the bread or baguette, depending on your sandwich preferences. Be sure to thoroughly add enough mixture on both bread slices (or both sides of the baguette.) Then top with cucumber slices, and repeat the process on the second slice of bread.
